Will milton have one of his better games or will he have his same old game where he throws up homerun balls,Im interested to see what milton has to bring tonight considering our chances in the closer role with guardado and coffey As setup and I wouldt be suprised if krivisky makes another move before allstar break and I was wondering has mark redman's name been floating around!! Ive heard it too

sounds like a good line to me and add everday eddie first save as a red coffey pitches a 1-2-3 8th inning

I think the last couple of starts for Milton pretty much sucked. So maybe he can turn things around tonight and stop the losing streak. Hopefully.

That would be the perfect recipe.

He makes the big bucks. It is time to fullfil the STOPPER role tonight.

Don't know about any of you guys, but I think Milton's stuff looks a whole lot better when he has a 9 run lead.;)

Must not have been to good since he gave up 5 runs.

Once again, Milton looked good for about 3 innings and then went downhill. Makes you wonder if he is still having trouble with the strength in those knees.

That's what I'm saying. 5 runs ain't too bad when you have 10 to work with. Ought to be a prerequitsite for having Milton in the game.

I don't think there is any question about that.

My biggest hope for Milton this season was that he pitch over his head and stay healthy till the All Star Break or trading deadline, and that the Reds might find a contending team that played in a big ballpark to take him off their hands. I don't see that happening, and it's my prediction that Milton will get worse as the season wears on. I hope I am wrong. If the Reds could put 10 on the board every time he pitches, he might have a chance, and I use that word "might" loosely.

Weathers pitched the 8th inning not Coffey, which is just as good as he needed a good outing as well. No Save either because the Red's were up by 5.

Milton would be better as a long releiver in the Pen. He seems to lose it after he gets through the line-up the first time. He was on thin ice after the third inning again last night. He got the win but IMO his line was less than impressive, esp after the 3rd inning. I guess the question is though who takes his place as a starter. Right now there is no one so we are stuck with what we got.

Note he was just making a prediction before ;) It almost came true
