The Wrigley Field crowd has went nuts, throwing everything on the field. Dusty Baker is about to have a heart attack. They were leading the Mets 5-0, now they trail 13-5.

It couldn't happen to a better team.:beerme:

What an inning - 2 grand slams, another 2-run shot & even that 3rd out made it to the middle of the warning track.

I was flipping between that and The Simpsons...it took me a while to realize I was still watching the same inning.

If the Mets drop an 11 run inning on the Reds this week like this one against the Cubs, my head may literally explode.

Juan Pierre has ben on fire for like the last 3-4 weeks. The Cubs should trade him while his value is as high as it is.

I pity the team that pays up for Pierre

New York Giants and the Chicago Bears?

Probably, though we did cut that kicker who missed those extra points a few years back

I pity them then.

Suprised they would want him, their OF seems to have an age limit of 40.

I traded Craig Counsell and Aaron Rowand for him just before he got hot. :beerme:

It is going to be one sad day if that organization ever wins a world series.

IMO, without a doubt, the lamest fans in all of sports.

Most overrated in sports. People THINK they are loyal, but what they are in reality is a bunch of people that want to take a day off and be drunk for an afternoon/evening at a historic ballpark.

I had a buddy who moved to Chicago who started going to Cub games, just so he could go to Wrigley. He never became a Cub fan but he was never against them either.

He has since quit going to Wrigley because of how obnoxious most of their fans are and he started going to Commiskey where he eventually started to root for the Sox (before they won the World Series).

He went to a good number of Cub games and he was an impartial visitor. After a short time he began to loathe Cub fans.

I could of saved him some time, and I've never been to Wrigley.
