They are 7-7 in extra innings. So, the D-backs have a chance to stay 2.5 back if they beat the 'stros, pushing them a daunting 7 games behind the good guys. However, if Houston wins that ballgame, it wills stretch the Reds lead to 3.5 in the Wild Card over the Gents and Snakes.

So, who do we want to win this ballgame as we start to see some seperation in the standings? Who is to be feared most? Why is Houston still looking at this like a tight race when they are fading so fast?

Just saw the D-Backs took the lead...

Well, the Snakes bit the Spacemen 8-7. With each loss, trading for Tejeda makes little sense. Of course, watching Adam Everett hit every night would try any GM's soul, but...

Saw there was another post like this in the other forum, so sorry...

Things are certainly getting interesting. It's fun watching the Astros flush so much money down the toilet. It almost makes me wish they would make some kind of panic move and extend the hilarity.

It was reported on either the Fox pregame show or on ESPN News that the Astros had a deal last night for Tejeda. The deal was vetoed by the Orioles owner.
