What's Villone's contract status? He would be a good target in the offseason for the obligatory old fat guy in the 'pen role, except unlike our normal fat guys, he can still get guys out.

One of the things I admired most about Villone as a Red was his serious work at becoming more than a sure out in the number 9 hole and his hustle down the line out of the batter's box.

I remember when Villone struck out 16 batters in his last start with us. I felt like i was in the twilight zone or something
