According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel the Florida Marlins are the newest team to enter the Soriano sweepstakes. WOW:eek: That would nearly double their entire team salary.

I want Soriano to go to an AL team where he won't affect the WC race, not Florida.

It's been reported that if FLA acquires Soriano, they will turn around and deal him for some prospect bats. They are looking for a decent power hitting CF and a catcher. The team that would make the most sense because of that is the LAA who always have a slew of catching prospects. Not sure what they have for CF prospects.

Sounds like a 3+ team trade situation with FLA.
