Hello everyone,

Yesterday, July 31 at 7:07 am, the Yachtzee family welcomed its newest member, young Charles Albert, weighing 7 lbs. 6 oz. and spanning 20.5 inches. Mom and baby are doing great! He was in such a rush to get here, we just made it to the hospital with a little time to spare. I guess he really wanted to find out if the Reds were going to make that blockbuster deal at the trading deadline.

Congrats Yachtzee, but be forewarned that one day young Charles Albert may surprise you by announcing that he's a fan of some other team.

How I ended up with a Marlins fan living under my roof when we've never lived within 1,000 miles of Miami and my son's only time in Florida was a few days at Disney World is a mystery indeed. ;)

First tip...if it's a boy, make sure you keep a towel or diaper strategically placed when changing his diaper...and keep your mouth closed. Boys will sometimes squirt while you're changing them. I know a few people who have "tasted the 'Hollywood Knights' punch," if you know what I mean.

HA! And to add one more, Johnny... if it is a boy, then make sure he learns to hit lefthanded. Easier to get a job in the bigs that way!!!

I'm a lefty hitter/righty thrower, so it's a given that little Justin will hit lefty. The tricky part is that I'll have to learn to pitch lefty so he doesn't get platooned. ;)
