Interesting.... he K's a bit much for my taste but he has experience and he certainly would be no worse than Wise or Watson, I like it.

The Reds could do better for a bench guy with pop but could do worse as well; Cruz isn't Minnesota-ey enough for Kriv's taste, so it's all a moot point.

You mean the Minnesota Twins of Cincinnati  , just like you have the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

Listen to you guys baggin on Krivsky. We have the best GM since... ever... and you guys rip him? (OK, so I think the ex-Twins cracks are kinda funny.)

Anyway, I agree that Cruz might be worth considering. I haven't liked our backup OFs for a while and he might be decent for a pennant race. I just like saying that last part.

I wouldn't mind having him for the bench but thats all. He can play some good D but he won't hit much. Kinda like his uncle Hecter.

********AB HR BB SO OBP SLG AVG
VS. LEFTY 67 2 13 12 .420 .522 .313
VS. RIGHTY 156 3 30 42 .324 .321 .199

Probably a bad sign that he's not doing as well from the side of the plate where he gets most of his at bats.

I remember when the Reds missed out on the Jose Cruz Jr sweepstakes and it was a perceived disaster. Oh well, you just never know until there's a long track record, and even then there's no guarantee that the wheels won't fall off.

I wasn't baggin' on him. Just a little bit of humor in all of the ex-Twins that have been signed. FWIW, he's doing a great job though, IMO.

Krivsky hasn't been on the job for a year and he's already the best ever? come on.
