How come the season's never over when the Cards lose?

Jerry Narron plays it by the book, it's just not our book.

Fans boo because the only weapon they have is a blunt instrument.

As someone once told the fans, "We will not rest until you're happy."

But sometimes we sound like Yankees fans.

Instead of teams that are winning raiding the players of teams that are losing, shouldn't it be the other way around?

Baseball cards might be more popular now if they had those party pictures from the bars.

It seems that the man who couldn't replace Ozzie Smith can't replace Felipe Lopez.

Well, he blew it up and he made it his. Now what?

BCubb - I hope you're keeping a paper record of all these thoughts.

I'd buy the book. ;)

I have never been a proponent of book burnings ... but in this case I might make an exception.

As someone once told the fans, "We will not rest until you're happy."

That is going to be one tired SOB.

But sometimes we sound like Yankees fans.
... minus 21 additional WS championships
... minus 30 additional Pennants
... minus 33 additionalplayoff appearances
and
... minus about $70M in additional payroll?

We have actual reasons to complain.

It seems that the man who couldn't replace Ozzie Smith can't replace Felipe Lopez. The former is no surprise and the latter is a sad commentary on the Reds SS situation.

You mean you haven't heard the refrain... "So Taguchi just gave away the post season with that play."

I guess I'm not reading the right game threads.

:beerme:

The Cards have lost five in a row and we still have seven games left with them head to head, yet anytime we lose a single game we should just give up for the year....
