In over 800 major league at-bats Jerry Narron had an OPS of .588. He probably is impressed by the likes of Clayton, Castro and Larue. :eek:

Yes, that totally explains a large part of Narron's take on things. He also was on the Yankees when Reggie and Billy were together, he's seen Martin and Fowler abuse the hell out of pitchers and use the BP quite well too. he also was bench ballast for the Mariners when they were a mess and he was lucky enough to play under maybe the worst manager of all time (Maury Wills) and he played under Gene Mauch.... which if you know anything about Mauch then you just learned a mess about Jerry Narron.

Wait. Sparky Anderson's was .531. That doesn't explain Rose, Griffey, Morgan, Bench, Perez, and Foster.
