yes, he pitched in AA. Was initially brought up as a short reliever and they put him in the rotation. Today is his first major league start, and he's thrown quite well.

If Bailey came up and threw an indentical kind of start would everyone here be happy with it or use it as fodder for why he should still be "learning" in AA.

Albers line is pretty much inline with what I would expect from Bailey if he was called up now.

Which is why I don't think it does much good for the Reds to call him up now. They should be able to get the same results from another pitcher and not burn up valuable service time.

matt albers is local houston product. and he is also 23 i am pretty sure...so there is a bit of difference between matt and homer.

And a month ago many thought he should be still learning in single A.
