Jordan Smith R/R 6'4" 210 02/04/1986

Smith was a 6th round draft choice this season from Community College of Southern Nevada, and is a native of Pleasant Grove, Utah.

"The son of Gordon and Jill Smith, Jordan began playing baseball at the age of 5. In his spare time, Jordan enjoys hunting and fishing. He is a transfer from Salt Lake Community College. A two year varsity athlete in high school, Jordan batted .410 with six home runs his senior year.

Smith is only 20, which is very young for a college draft pick, and he has pitched very well in his debut season at Billings. I love his size, as he seems to have a classic pitcher's frame. Also his team played against Yavapi, which was Milton Loo's team.

Smith stats at CC of Southern Nevada (thru 3/11): 7g 0-1 7.36era 7.1ip 8h 6r 6er 2bb 3so .286 baa
