Either Oliver Perez or Dave Williams are expected to be called up to take Pedro Martinez's turn in the rotation on Saturday.

Perez, who struggled in his first two starts with Triple-A Norfolk since being acquired from Pittsburgh, pitched excellent on Monday. The pitcher that the Mets decide to go with will likely be given only one start since Brian Bannister and Mike Pelfrey are both close to returning from the disabled list.

The Mets are calling up Dave Williams, and that's the team that everyone in the NL is afraid of? Hmm...

The Mets call up Dave Williams, maybe they have a major weakness every fifth day. If their smart they recall Oliver Perez. At least he can stop the Reds.

Its for one start, and I think the Mets are done playing the Reds unless they cross paths in the post season
