What are wood's numbers on the year now? And does he start next year at Sarasota or Chattanooga?

I think this is how next year is shaping up in terms of prospects:

Bailey: Start in AAA unless he has an extremely strong showing in camp, in which case you let him start the year as a long reliever and eventually work him into the rotation in May or June just like Liriano did this year. Either way, barring a major setback he should be in the Reds rotation by the AS Break.

Cueto: Start in High A, move him quickly to AA if he posts good numbers.

Wood: Ditto

Watson: Start him again in AA, but he could move up quickly, it depends whether they want to stretch him into a starter or not.

Votto: Start in AAA, he should be your first positional player called up, and if the Hat begins to struggle, work him into the rotation at 1B.

Denorfia: Has to be the 4th OF on the big league club. Its now or never for his big league career.

Bruce: Start him in AA, see how he responds.

Vailakala: Start him in Dayton, could move up quickly to Sarasota.

Stubbs: Put him in Dayton and hope that he hits.

I'd kinda forgotten about Sean Watson. And for good reason. His numbers in Dayton are dreadful. Overpromotion? Dead arm after a long college season + introduction to pros?

I would say Sarasota.

Travis Wood: Individual Stats (Pitching)
Team From To W L ERA G GS CG SHO SV IP H R ER HR BB SO
Dayton Dragons 04/06 08/17 9 4 4.20 24 24 0 0 0 120.0 102 64 56 13 47 119

My Question now is .... Do they send T.Wood to Instructional League???? Where he will continue to pitch?????????????

Travis Wood needs to be shut down. He has enough innings on his arm as it is right now. I cant believe they have let him throw 120 innings already. They are talking about shutting Bailey down at like 135 innings this year, but Wood, a year younger is at 120 and still going?

Also just to note, Chris Valaika went 1-3 last night for the Mustangs, but he also extended his now 23 game hitting streak.
Josh Ravin (5th round pick 2006) was promoted to Billings yesterday. He has been decently good for the GCL Reds and outside of his last outting has been quite good.

That's what I thought... He also has 3 MORE starts and they haven't told him for sure if he is going to Instructional League or not.:bang:
