I think he's a bit too healthy and young to pass our rigorous screenings.

Mota's stats:
6.21 ERA
6.45 K/9
4.54 BB/9
1.42 K:BB
2.15 HR/9
1.70 WHIP
6.39 DIPS
Mota has a pretty good history of decent relief pitching, however he has been nothing short of atrocious this season. The Reds are looking for relievers who will help now. If you don't like the guys we have got so far, you wont like this guy either. He's given up HRs at a higher rate than Milton. He needs to drastically turn things around for the Mets to be of any kind of help for them, and I don't like his chances.

DUI's?
As far as I know, Shoeneweis doesn't have a DUI on his record. Perhaps your thinking of Scott Sourbeck?
