Most of the Afternoon I have looked at everyone that has a shot in the Wild Card and the Cards. This is how it will break down.

Aug 21-23 Astros

We win 2 out of 3 with the struggling Stros offense and no rocket. 66-61

Aug 24-27 Giants

We split this series Giants still playing hard. 68-63

Aug 28-30 Dodgers

We lose 2 out of 3 to the 2nd best team in the NL 69-65

Sept 1-3 Padres

We nut up to take 2 out of 3 and have a .500 west coast swing 71-66

Sept 4-6 Giants

We take care of business and take 2 out of 3 73-67

Sept 8-10 Pirates

Sanchez and Bray cool down and we sweep a team for the first time in 2 1/2 months! 76-67

September 12-14 Padres

With Cincy feeling it and with a packed house we still have S.D. number and take 2 out of 3 78-68

Sept 15-17 Cubs

With the cubs testing AAA pitching for next year, we take 2 out of 3 in Chicago 80-69

Sept 18-20 Astros

We get to cocky and lose 2 out of 3 to the Astros 81-71

September 22-25 Cubs

After losing the opener, we win 3 to take the series 3 our of 4. Reds 1st winning season in 7 years. 84-72

Sept 26-28 Marlins

We lose 2 out of three to the scrappy Marlins 85-74

Sept 29- Oct 1 Pirates

With a 2 game lead over the Diamondbacks, we seal the deal with a Friday night win over the Pirates. Even though the Central is still in our reach, Narrons plays the odds and rests his starters. We blow off Sat. game after a bad hangover,:beerme: and lose a close one on Sunday due to a Franklin start to set up the rotation for the 1 round of the Playoffs. 86-76.

The Cards are 9 games over .500 right now and with that home stand at the end of the season they will finish 12 games over .500 with a 87-75 record.

You should just be able to click the thread title once from the main board and you'll get to edit your title that way.

I tried that. Once the title is submitted you can't change it, just the content.

4 things: Jr. has been terrible since the All-Star break...he has to get better.
Dunn has been in a fog the last 3 weeks, he has to get better.
EE is now starting to play everyday...he will keep producing.
Lohse is pitching great and will continue to because he keeps the ball down in the zone!

Actually Jr. can get worse. Dunn should improve though, and Edwin will produce as long as he plays. I don't know if Lohse will keep his newfound success, but I am enjoying it.
