This question applies to more than just Homer but I am specifically interested in him. If Homer actually has made his last start of the season and the Reds intend to 'shut him down', what exactly happens to him? Do they send him home? Do they keep him in Chattanooga to work on the side with that team's pitching coach? Would it be advantageous to bring him to Cincinnati to work with Ruhle/Hume? Here's a thought:maybe they should send him to wherever Mario Soto is to have him work on his changeup? Anyone have any ideas?

They place him in cryrogenic suspended animation until February 15th.

I would assume he would stay with the team seeing how they're going to the playoffs and possibly workout on the side until the season ends and they give him some time off.

Mario Soto is currently in the Dominican Republic, so I doubt he is going to be sent there to work with Mario Soto.
He may be sent to instructional league, or he may just be sent home after Chattanooga finishes their season.

If he came to Cincy to sit on the bench, Narron would secretely activate him and put him in the pen or be our 5th starter when Kriv goes to lunch.
