Guy I work with thought it was a good movie. I haven't seen it, but he said it was pretty good.

The wife rented it, and I made it about 3/4 of the way though it last night before I fell asleep. :lol:

I doubt you're ever gonna get much storywise from a video game adaptation so I never go into one of them looking for a compelling story. What the film "Silent Hill" does have is incredible production design, a very creepy atmosphere and some damn good FX. It's not a buy for most people but I'd say a rental would suit you fine.
