Just like when a middle reliever goes 4 innings in a blowout, when the bench player takes a fastball in the back, or a Triple A pussballer comes up for the spot start knowing he'll be sent right back down...it's time.

Go ahead and get a good night's sleep tonight in San Diego...have a good rest and gear up for your unearned day off.

Please go hit the town, the beaches, heck, I don't care if it's the underpasses of the local interstate...and find the "cutest" possible slumpbuster. Do your thing...and let's win three against the Spanish Preachers and then get home to take care of business against the elderly somewhat large steroid-like guys from SF.

We do seem to struggle with RISP... We also seem to struggle with preventing the team from scoring runs.

Shame how the two of those paired together tend to result in losses.
