Reds should have won yesterday, end of story. This game is little more than a footnote. Maybe the Reds can finish .500 which would be an accomplishment for how crappy this team has played and collapsed.

If the Reds won yesterday, it'dd be 1.5 back, and we'dd at least get to think about it. Being 2.5 back with 3 to go means both STL and Houston basically have to lose out and the Reds have to win out.

Remember, the Cards potentially could have a game on Monday if deemed necessary. First things first, Reds need to take care of business before worrying what the Cards and 'Stros do.
