Add the Cincinnati Reds to that list.

Here's hoping we don't have to wait as long at the Cubs.

and Detroit, and Baltimore, and San Diego, and San Francisco, and Houston, and Texas, and Milwaukee, and Pittsburgh.

In fact, no NL Central team has a World Series title in their 'new' park.

No NL Central team has ever won a World Series GAME.

I think she meant no NL Central team has won a WS game in their new ballparks.

The Reds have won 9 WS games in a row.

All as a Western Division team though.

VP is right, we're the only division in baseball never to win a World Series game.

I think she meant no NL Central team has won a WS game in their new ballparks.

Actually, what I meant was that no team has ever won a World Series game under the blanket of the NL Central. Any team currently in the Central division that won a WS game did so as a member of the NL East or West. Since the inception of the Central divisions, no team in the NL Central has won a single World Series game.

edit: joseph beat me to it ;)

No NL Central team has ever won a World Series GAME.

Yikes. That is one of the most depressing facts I have heard in my life.

Ahhh, I see now. Thanks for that tidbit; I completely forgot the Central hadn't yet been formed when the Reds won the WS in 1990.

Neither has won a World Series in their new ballpark.

Both parks are named after a product their former owners sold at one time.

There both stuck with people from Illinois making up the majority of their fan base

Both teams have an overinflated opinion of their relative stature and significance pertaining to the history of the greatest game ever invented.

Oh yeah...and they both make me want to hurl.

Somebody else must have read George Will, too.
