The press at the World Series is always looking for storylines. I'll bet Sean Casey will be one of them.

Good guy, unexpectedly traded from Cincinnati to his hometown Pittsburgh. Then moved to a contender, and now he's in the Series.

Now he's playing hurt, coming back from the calf injury. I predict a lot of hugs from the press.

I just have a strong feeling that he's going to come up big in the Series. Nothing to back it up but a feeling, but it would be very cool it it happens.

Good luck, Mayor. Show us what you've got. The stage is set.

Casey is not gonna play against lefties. And Leyland may relegate him to DH, depending on how well he can run on that injured calf.

Either way, I'm rootin' for Sean. Hope he gets a ring.

Last year at this time, I'll bet none of us imagined that Sean Casey would play for three different teams within a year.

Three teams? Must be a cancer in the clubhouse.

He didn't, did he? Wasn't he traded before the season began? In fact, I think he was traded last December.

Within a year's time, from August 2005 to August 2006, he played for three teams.
