I honestly expected these to be better.

Yeah, me too. I'm not sure how many commercials they went through to get this, but if this is the cream of the crop, yikes. Still, I really like the Fire Fox one. The Folgers one is creepy, but it illustrates it's point pretty well.

Me too. "This one better sell some bloody beer" pretty much sums up the point of it all.

The beer one won a gold lion at Cannes this year. That's pretty much the top of the heap, as far as ad awards go.

As for the big 5, I'm glad none of them aired, although I think I've seen the Folger's one before. Not sure where.

Good in what way? I had a couple of chuckles over some, but wouldn't want them aired as commercials. Not before a broad audience of television viewers. And wouldn't want to see them over and over.

Edit: Forgot to mention that none of them make me more interested in or aware of the product they're selling than I would be otherwise.

my wife and I HAVE BEEN watching he Mozilla firefox commercial over and over. It was just as funny the 10th time.

"Weeeeeee!"

And I think it actually does make its point. The other browsers are chock full o' nonsense, while Mozilla does what it's supposed to do - let you view the web.

I thought the X-box commercial was clever, but maybe a little too "out there" for Microsoft.

The Mozilla firefox ad would make me want to throw something at my TV after a while.

The XBox ad may have been clever, but I'm not sure some parents would want their kids to see grown-ups "playing" that way. I find it kind of disturbing too.
