Be interesting to see...

Personally, I was rooting for the Cards because they represent our division. I know a lot of Reds fans that jumped on the Tigers bandwagon because of Casey, however.

Cardinals, despite the presence of LaRussa.

Tigers, due to my location. I wasn't upset with the Cards win, though. Nice to see the NLC represent.

The Tigers. But, unlike some, seeing the Cards win did not make me sick. It's been a while for them, and that organization has done some things I wish ours could do. *coughpitchingcough*

For one of the very few times in life, I found myself rooting for the AL.
Sean Casey was the major reason.

The first time I ever pulled fo the AL was for the Angles. Barry Bonds was the main reason for that. ;)

Tigers. Because of Casey. Because of their recent history of being bad. Because I've pulled for Detroit before.

I usually pull for the NL Champ, tho, so seeing the Cards win didn't bother me too much.

I enjoyed the series. I think it's kind of interesting that both the NLCS and the WS ended with a young pitcher getting into a jam, then getting a K to win the game.

24 years is a long time for the Redbirds since their last World Series.

With all their free agents, I think you will see an extreme team makeover with their club next season.

Tigers. I'm not a big LaRussa fan and would have rather seen Leyland in the same company with The Spark. Also, now living in Michigan, it's easy to get caught up in the excitement around here. This will always be HockeyTown but these people love them some Tigers, too.

I was rooting for the series to go at least 6, but I guess I'm glad the Cards won. I thought the Tigers would PROBABLY win, but I was annoyed that everyone thought it was an utter certainty that they'd win. I was just asannoyed last year with the predictions that the Astros would get creamed (even though they did).

It's baseball. Sooner or later people will understand that luck and randomness make it impossible to accurately predict a short series.

I never pay attention when ANYONE says someone will win with an "utter certainty."

Neither. I was rooting for an entertaining series, and I lost.

I was rooting for the Reds, though I admit they were a longshot.

Tigers

Don't care for Larussa.
Don't care for Edmonds.

I have no problem with Cardinals fans, though, or the Cardinals organization for that matter, so I didn't mind seeing those folks have a winner. They've paid their dues.
