1 year, 8M apparently. This is pretty darn high for a guy coming off an injury. Maybe 4 years ago Wolf was a #2-3 starter but his consistency has been an issue as well as his health. Since coming back his era has also been over 5. Clearly Gagne will get 10-12M a year and Padilla will maybe get the $ that he is seeking.

BTW, I saw this in another thread mentioned as a possibility but no official confirmation.

while the $8M is high with no LT commitment there is little risk. For a team like the Dodgers this is insurance.

Wolf was the kind of pitcher Jimbo would take a flyer on. Now that flyer costs 8 huge ones. Maybe I'll cut back my trips to the park. I need the money far more than these guys.
