Ed Hodge, 47, enters his first season with the Phillies after spending the last five years in the Cincinnati Reds organization. Hodge joined the Reds in 2002 as the pitching coach at Rookie Billings and guided a staff that led the Pioneer League with a 3.72 ERA. He spent the next two seasons with the Rookie GCL Reds (2003) and Class-A Potomac (2004). The last two seasons, Hodge served as the pitching coach for Sarasota in the Florida State League. Prior to joining the organization, Hodge spent nine years as a college coach. The former left-handed pitcher was drafted by Minnesota in the fifth round of the June 1979 draft and went on to pitch nine professional seasons, reaching the majors with the Twins in 1984. Ed currently resides in Johnson City, TN.

The Tampa Bay Devil Rays have selected the Columbus Catfish field staff for the 2007 season.
Manager Jim Morrison will be joined by pitching coach Bill Moloney , coachBrady Williams and trainer Kris Russell .
Moloney most recently spent six seasons in the Cincinnati Reds organization, including the last four as pitching coach for the Chattanooga Lookouts (AA). Before joining the Reds he spent 21 years in the Boston Red Sox organization, serving as an assistant to the Major League staff in his final four seasons.
