View Full Version : AI to Denvah
I like it. Should be really fun to watch and I think AI will flourish as a scoring PG in that high-powered offense.
The trade: (as reported on ESPN radio)
Denver receives:
Allen Iverson
Philadelphia receives:
Andre Miller
Joe Smith
2 First-Round draft picks
It's definitely a lot to give up, but I honestly believe it could mean a possible championship-run for the Nuggets and at least a Western Conference Finals.

Hopefully now AI gets a chance for a ring.

Wonder what this will do to Carmelo's scoring title chances?

Ends them instantly. But hopefully for Denvers sake, Anthony cares more about winning then scoring titles.
They now have a very very good team.
PG - Iverson
SG - JR Smith
SF - Anthony
PF - Evans/Najera
C - Camby
Bench - Boykins, Najera, Nene
Not sure that team can stay with San Antonio or Dallas though.

Should prove to be interesting when AI suits up for the Nuggets, and how he and Melo interact once Melo gets back from the suspension.

One ball to share between AI and 'Melo? Both need the rock to be effective and both average about 24 shots a game.
I don't think so.

George Karl will have them scoring 110+ a game, so the shots should be there for both of them

I was thinking "Artificial Intelligence"...boy was I off.
I wonder if he will convince DeMarr Johnson to let him have #3 or if he will go the Kobe route and change it up.

Pretty soon there won't be any stars left in the Eastern Conference.
Should be fun to watch these guys play Phoenix. >300 total points in a regulation game?

Denver will now either win it all or blow up.
I don't see a middle ground.
