OU just intercepted a pass for a touchdown to take the lead. Boise State's undefeated record is no more.

Isn't this the type of game we were expecting from the Rose Bowl?

This is the most incredible ending to a game that I've seen in probably a decade.

Now, here's where collage football has an advantage in OT. Both teams get a chance to score.

Holy crap. Hook & Ladder on 4 & 18 at the 50 for a touchdown with 20 seconds left. Incredible.

I haven't seen a hook and ladder work since Lebanon pulled it off in the 1998 state title game.

What a game!

Ah crap. I turned it off after the INT-TD. Hope they show a replay for the BSU TD.

However this game comes out, both teams showed a lot of desire to win tonight.

A hook and ladder and a statue of liberty in the same game.

Best game of the year. What cajones that BSU coach has.

The beauty of a bowl system is that Boise State will always have this 13-0 season and (in their minds) a claim of the championship. A playoff might give us a single "champion" but I'm not sure it wouldn't cost us as many great moments as it would provide.

I agree...BEST GAME OF THE YEAR! There was more excitement in the last 2 minutes plus overtime than any game I can remember.

Absolutely a fabulous game. I am so glad I watched that! :beerme:

What a fantastic call on the 2pt conversion. The Statute of Liberty. You gotta dig REALLY deep into the playbook to find that one.

Great, great game.

If the NFL wants to improve their product that's one rule change they have to make.

WOW! I'm speechless. I thought the USC-Notre Dame game from last year was the best college football game I'd ever seen. This one might just be better.

I love teams that play like Boise State. They had one play on three occassions that if they didn't execute, the game was over. They did a hook and ladder, and halfback pass, and a statue of liberty. And converted each time. What more cna you say. They deserved to be there and delivered one of the best games of all time.

This game would've been great no matter when and where it was played -- be it as the Fiesta Bowl or as the opening round to a playoff.

I don't think anyone that watched that game can tell me they wouldn't at least like to see what BSU could do against Ohio State. You might think OSU would beat them into the turf, or you might think it would be a close game -- but it's a game I want to see.

I would expect it to be on ESPN classic sometime soon, but with it being on FOX, you never know. Someone might put it up on youtube.

What an entertaining game. Me and my roommates went through the roof on that hook and ladder. Wow, I don't know if I can go to sleep I'm so pumped up. Those last few minutes reminded me of playing football in the backyard with the buddies trying to design fancy, trick plays. I didn't want that game to end. As conservative as Boise State was in the second half to come out like that in overtime was a shock.

That was perhaps the greatest finish to a football game I have ever seen. Just unreal.

I mean, if you write that down as a movie script you get laughed out of a producer's office. Are you kidding me?

-The underdog comes out playing their hearts out and gets the lead.
-Suddenly, they start to lose the lead when the dreaded favorite comes back.
-The opponent drives down the field and scores after the Boise player deflects a pass that is then caught for a touchdown.
-Boise can redeem itself....but then their QB throws an interception that's returned for a touchdown and the dream of the underdog appears dead.
-After sputtering to the 50 and facing a 4th & 18 with only seconds left, they bust out a hook and ladder for a touchdown to tie it back up.
-The opponent's all-world tailback makes it look easy on the first play of OT, scampering for a TD to force Boise to score to force another OT.
-Boise stalls on their possession and faces another 4th down, only to be saved by a trick play again as a WR tosses a TD pass.
-Rather than kick the conventional extra point and head to double OT, the rookie coach whose loose style has been magic all year tells his team they're going for two and the win.
-The players huddle up during the timeout and go for yet another trick play to win it, and the Statue of Liberty works to perfection as the tailback takes it in and the celebration is on.
-Then to top it off, when the tailback is being interviewed after the game on national TV, he proposes to his girlfriend (captain of the Boise cheerleading squad) who says yes.

Unbelievable.

I wanted to see the game so I started watching it when it was at halftime. What an awesome second half and OT thats is the reason the NFL should elimanate sudden death and have the college format of OT.
