I didn't watch the video because I don't have access to high-speed for a few more days but the traditional red wishbone cap with a white "C" is used to represent Compton, CA. If there's other gear in the video that actually spells out Cincinnati like a jersey then I don't know. But my money's on the former.

I watched it and it wasn't the traditional all red one. He wears the black hat with red bill for quite a bit of the song. That being said I also noticed a Cardinals hat earlier in the video. I have a feeling Snoop couldn't even tell you what team's hat he's even wearing.

Actually, Snoop's a Crip (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snoop_Dog). Red would be for the Bloods.

Some hiphop guys used to wear the Reds cap to represent Pete Rose, and his being kept down.

The hip-hop crowd doesn't generally care about the team -- they wear sports jerseys and hats for the colors.

The Reds hat is worn buy alot of "West-Coast" rappers.
The C - stands for Compton, CA...
The red - stands for Bloods...

I know Snoop is a crip, but he's really only a figure head...(think Queen of England) and wouldn't care about wearing the colors of the bloods, since he is a good friend of The Game (who also often sports the Reds hat for the reasons above).

I'm pretty sure that Snoop has said on more than one occasion that he is a Pirates fan. Poor guy...

I know he's a USC fan for college football. And a Steeler's fan in pro football.
I don't believe I've ever heard him talk about baseball, but you may be right.

Snoop is a fan of whatever team is hottest at the moment. You say he's a Steelers fan?

Here he is in a patriots jersey http://images.nfl.com/photos/features/img7450603.jpg

These days, wearing the jersey or hat of a particular team is not necessarily a statement of support for that team. It may just be a fashion statement. I have a couple of really cool retro baseball hats I've worn in the past, my favorite being an old Houston Colt .45s hat with the leather hatband. I also have a cool San Francisco Seals hat, a Mariners hat with the old trident logo, a 1971 Pirates hat I got as a free giveaway for a game I attended at PNC Park, and a number of other hats I've either picked up or were given to be by my dad from his many travels. I enjoy the retro hats because I'm a fan of baseball history. I have a number of Reds hats as well, but I lost my all-time favorite, which had the white crown with red bill and red "C" outlined in navy.

I still need to find the money to pick up the new home hat, and I need to pick up a BRM era hat that fits my giant cabesa.
