As the season winded down I read several times that the Braves would be shopping Langerhans this winter. But, it hasn't transpired. He could be a decent fit here, moving forward. He's a good defensive outfielder that can play center, and a lefty with enough pop to exploit the right field porch at GAB. His minor league numbers weren't half bad, though he has struggled so far at the major league level. Even with Bruce coming soon and Jr. probably shifting, a guy like Langerhans could be a good risk if the Braves aren't asking for the moon. The emergence of Matt Diaz and return of Kelly Johnson would seem to make Langerhans a reasonable target.
