Breaking news on POWERPACK ticket packaged.

Just talked to a guy at the ticket office. He says that the packages will now be 11 games instead of eight and will still include opening day. Last year they went on sale Feb 11th, he says that they will go on sale on March 3rd.

If that date is right they must be pushing back when they are selling tickets. Usually tickets to all the games go on sale in mid February.

I hope they make the pack available in the lower level seating bowl this year. I got the pack last year and enjoyed it, but would have like it that much more had I been able to buy some better seats.

At the Columbus caravan stop one of the employees by the Opening Day drawing responded to someone asking when tickets went on sale with "sometime in March."

If true, this is sort of late as tickets have gone on sale in Mid to late February the past few years.

It could be a good move to push the onsale date back. If you wait until March sometime, Spring Training is in full go mode by then and it's possible a few more people may buy tickets because the juices are going.
