It's not on sale until 9:00. I will be in that promptly to get mine. I'd rather just be able to get an Opening Day ticket, but if this is the only way to guarantee one, then so be it.

Real easy to get. I always scrounge up tickets for my family members that don't have season tickets. I got one by 9:02.

I had 7 windows open, and I got in there to purchase in about a minute. It was pretty smooth. I figured that we will attend 8 or maybe 9 of the Power Pack games, so this was a better deal than getting OD tickets on eBay.

I still have 3 windows open and just checked. The 400 level seats available then were pretty far out down the left field line. They must be going quickly.

536 Row U for me!

i thought row S was the top rows up there???

i saw the roger clemens vs paul wilson game and i was in the top row of the View Level.
i could of sworn the top row was section S.

but 536 is Outer View Level, so could it have a few more rows, or am i just crazy???

919191
03-03-2007, 09:33 AM
I got 522 row I. $ seats. I was going to go mezzanine for a few more bucks if I couldn't get in the lower 10 rows of the 500 level close to the plate, but I did, and the mezzanine just wasn't worth the extra dollers compared with what I got, but if I got any higher, I would have gone with the mezzanine.

i'm sure you have a seat that is safe.
that would be funny if they put seats on the roof and sold them as a experience like fenway park cincinnati style. LOL

$3 seats to sit on the roof and get a city view.
kindive like sitting on top of the wall at fenway.

call me crazy but i have a feeling that there will be a good amount of seats leftover.

it's almost 10am and all scalpers have done there business.
most fans that knew of this have done their business.

now the out of towners will see what seating areas are leftover and think really hard about it.

who from chicago wants to pay $380+ for 2 view level seats?
thats why the outer view level went so fast.

i would think that either A) they will have a good size drawing or B) they will have a single game ticket sale that will last about 2 minutes or less

SAT IN THE BLEACHERS LAST YEAR, AND AGAIN THIS YEAR. NOT A BAD SEAT AT ALL, THE ONLY PROBLEM IS YOU CANT SEE THE BIG SCREEN, AND THE SUN IS DEADLY FOR THE FIRST FEW INNINGS.

I have never waited in line for three days to buy opening day tickets but anyone who is complaining about this system is crazy. Anyone who is going to wait in line for OD tickets for more than an hour is die hard enough to get their moneys worth outa one of these packages. It's a really good set of games this year as well with the cards which I don't remember being in the package last year, also a July 3rd meeting with the Giants which could be around Homerun record time.

thanks...hopefully, the early april sun will be a good thing this year;)
out of curiosity, are the fans in the cincy bleachers better behaved than those in the cubby bleachers? i'm always leary of bleacher seats due to the high level of alcohol that is consumed there (not that there's anything wrong with that)

I consume my share of game day alchohol but I handle myself pretty well. I saw nothing last year that would keep me from bringing my child to the game. I would guess that it's rowdy on nights where the power pack ticks are not in play. People shell out pretty good money for all of these games so it's pretty tame. The problem I would think is the 5 dollar bleacher nights which are my favorite. I am a 5 dollar bleacher bum afterall.

Got mine early this morning shortly after 9:00. Left field Section 106 I believe...down the 3rd base foul line. I'm pretty happy about it.

kind of dissapointed though that the Sun/Moon Deck was sold out from the get go. But these seats are pretty comparable.

12pm update
3 hours after the power pack sale started

$92.00 outer view level seats are sold out.
$257.00 View Level Box seats only have single seats.
$147.00 bleachers seats only have single seats.
$246.00 Terrace Outfield is pretty much to single seats.

there are no seats in right field at all.

the only sections that have plenty of seats left is $257.00 Mezzanine and $180.00 View Level.

so while we all know this game will sell out.
but it looks like they will have a good amount of view level seats.

maybe even enough for a 2 or 3 minute single game sale.
that would leave open a lottery drawing for SRO tickets.
just my 2 cents.

the seats are pretty comparable.

the good thing about the reds schedule this year is that the changed the saturday games back to 7:10pm.
last year most of the saturday games were 6pm games.
that left people in left field with a bad sun for around 1hr to 1 1/2 hours.

now the people in left field (field level) will only have to deal with a sun in the face for around 1/2 hours or so.

great job by the reds to move the saturday games back to normal time.

and by the way here are some pictures from 106:beerme:

My power pack seats were in 106 last year and aside from the blinding sun for a hour or so every game, and not being able to see the scoreboard....we really enjoyed em.

Had that same option today but had front row seats in upper level boxes, right behind the plate, pop up in another browser at the same time, so went with those instead this year to cancel out the sun and scoreboard negatives.

not all seats in left field are like this.

like i said earlier, the saturday 6pm games did suck because of the sun.
it was there for a good 1 1/2 hours.

the 7pm games were good. the sun was there for about 30 minutes if i remember correct.

the scoreboard wasn't a problem for me since my season seats are in the first row. if i wanted to see the scoreboard, i just looked right behind me.
the first few rows can see the scoreboard.

Meanwhile...out here on the left coast...

I forgot the powerpacks went on sale today and I work 3rd shift so I did not wake up till 2:45pm. Then at 3:30 I remembered they were on sale and logged on and got 2 seats in Section 412 Row D Seats 11-12.

If anyone is interested in the April 4th game in these seats let me know. Neither myself or the guy I split em with can go to that game.

Congrats! Ive been to three and they are wonderful. Its not excitement on the level of the excitement of a pennant run but just the overall excitement that baseball is finally back and that there are 162 games to look forward to all summer. Everyone is in a great mood and ready for a Reds victory.
