TV? I wondered. I joined MLB radio, but not TV. Is it by chance a free preview or do you have to subscribe?

Thanks.

It's being carried on the YES network, from what I've heard. So if you get that channel, then yes. If you have MLB.tv, you'd also get it.

Looks like it's radio for me! Do you guys know the ST schedule for games on FSN?

They have not officially announced it but according to C. Trent's blog FSN is supposed to carry the March 22nd, 24th and 26th games. The game on March 26 is also on ESPN.

If you can't get it on TV tonight's game is also on XM 179.

I've been able to watch a couple of Yankees games on YES this spring, Chip, but for some reason, I have the same feeling.

Yeah, but you're in North Carolina.

Doesn't matter. Charlotte, North Carolina is still considered a Reds "Home Team" area. I get all the games on FSN Cincinnati. All other games, with a few exceptions, are blacked out, same as in Cincinnati.

Ah. Then we'll both probably be blacked out. :bang:

Travel squad 3/7

SARASOTA, Fla. -- Ran by the complex to pick some stuff up. No lineups yet, so I checked the travel roster for tonight's game.

The pitchers that are going ar Bobby Livingston, Elizardo Ramirez, David Weathers, Brad Salmon and Jared Burton.

Javier Valentin is the only one of the three regular catchers making the trip.

The only outfielders staying behind are Dunn and Griffey. The only infielders staying behind are Alex Gonzalez and Scott Hatteburg.

So I'll see 1 pitcher who will make the club out of spring and 3 regulars (Freel, Phillips and Encarnacion)

Boys, I officially am off the hot seat if we lose:rolleyes:

Thanks! I knew they were closer to the season starting. I'm bumbed. This is the 1st opening day in 8 years I will miss. I couldn't get tickets. It was cold last year. Maybe I'll enjoy taking off the day and watching it in front of my big screen with a big ol :beerme:

This for people that dont have a subscriptiuon to mlb.com or XM radio. If you can like I can here in Cinicinnati (Delhi) you can listen to the game on wcbs 880am from New York. It should be dark enough before the start of the game for their singnal to be bosted enough so we can listen to the full game. My stereo does not pick it up well but my Sony walkman does so I will be listening to tonights game on my walkman LOL.

I've been able to catch all the YES network games during the day, but not the night games, or rebroadcasts at night. So I'm betting I'm out of luck tonight.

Thanks hebron. I wonder why in the world the day games are A-OK but the night ones blacked out? More of the wonderful mystery of mlb.tv.

Yes, I just checked. Yankees feed. Sometimes it's neat to get other opinions on the Reds, but then again I doubt the Yankees guys know or even care about the Reds. :)
