Midwest- Wisconsin Go Bo!

West- Kansas in a kakewalk.

East- Texas. Boots and hats in the East?

South- Ohio State University. What a pathetic Homer pick, had to.

Best Semi- OSU and Texas, Oden and Durrant. Winner takes the trophy.

Winner-Texas

Caution: I always come in last in the Pools.

Ohio St. will not make it to the final four. Bank on it.

For my other fearless predictions, you'll have to wait til the games are played. I don't want to give away all my picks prior to the College Pick 'Em deadline...

Going wayyy out on a limb with USC. With Georgetown, Texas and North Carolina in that region they're going to have a tough go of it.

I actually have Arkansas beating them in the first round.

Yep, I like to take chances. In another bracket I have UNLV in the final game.

For the first time ever all four number one seeds are going to the Final 4.

It really could happen this year. There are no weak #1s. Ohio State, IMO, is the least talented #1, and they've only lost 3 games all year.

Here's mine FWIW:

Florida,Kansas,Georgetown and Texas A & M.

Florida will play Georgetown for the title and Florida will win it again. Florida has not shown me anything that they can't win it again.

I'm not at all on the Memphis bandwagon. They got zero competition in Conference USA. I have Nevada upsetting them in the second round.

That Memphis/Nevada matchup looks like the battle of the bloated records. I have no clue what either one is going to do once they face someone legit, so it should be a fun game.

I have Florida, Texas, UCLA, and Texas A&M, with UCLA winning it all. The winner of UCLA and Kansas will win it all in my opinion. Texas A&M's experience gives them the edge over the Bucks.

Of course I'm hoping the Bucks go, but even as an insane OSU fan, I'm not banking on it. Can they? You bet. Will they? It's no guarantee.

You guys that are picking Wisconsin...based on what? The way they played yesterday against OSU? They desperately need a third scoring option outside of Tucker and Taylor and they just don't have that.

Um...no one is picking Oregon State because they didn't make it. ;)

Oregon, however, is one of the hotter teams coming into the tourney, and they're playing in a weak bracket. If they can keep the momentum they established in the conference tourney, they could be looking at the Elite Eight. :beerme:

That potential matchup with Texas A&M in San Antonio scares me, assuming of course both teams avance that far (which I never assume).

That said, I'll pick (for now) :
UCLA in the west -
Florida in the East
Buckeyes in the South
Georgetown in the East - Buckeyes get a rematch with Roy and the boys

I could easily make a final 4 without 3 of these teams (excluding Florida) and still think I had a good shot. But there are a lot of teams with the capability to win it this year IMO.

I have the same final four. Texas A & M has a good chance if they get to play games in San Antonio but I don't think they will get that chance and Memphis doesn't play anyone so they are a darkhorse team. UCLA has great guard play and is a real toss up against Kansas. I think Georgetown is a better team than UNC.

I don't think all four number ones will make it to the Sweet 16 actually. The 8/9 games all have pretty good teams and I think one of those will take down a 1.

for some reason, I'm not too fond of the way UCLA is playing right now... I just have a weird feeling they will get knocked out early, but I couldn't find a team to talk myself into upsetting them. This basically translates them into a for sure final four appearance lol

That's my problem with Wisconsin. I KNOW they are going to lose before the Elite 8, if not much earlier. I just can't figure out where they'll lose, who they'll lose to and who will come out of that sectional to face Florida.

My gut tells me Ga. Tech could knock them out in the 2nd round, but I don't know if I want to put too much stock in a team that finished 6th in the ACC.

Texas doesn't look like a good tournament team. They've got worlds of talent, but absolutely no poise. Baylor nearly beat them. They had Kansas down huge in the first half in two different games, but couldn't handle it when the Jayhawks started putting pressure on them. And they're not very good defensively.

Plus Rick Barnes is a bad coach.

Here's an interesting stat I read somewhere. Out of the last 28 National Champions, 27 have had a 1st team All American. Not sure how true it is and I don't feel like checking, I just found it interesting. If true, that would mean Texas, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, Carolina, and UCLA have the leg up.

I can't even remember who is in my final four. I don't care anymore, not after years of getting beaten by people who pick teams by the colors of their "outfits".
They are UNIFORMS.

Oh well, another season of March Madness is underway and there goes another 10 spot.
