Honestly...if Marty likes Conine's body, he might have to be restrained on Monday.

Matt, is he in town to talk about getting a show on WLW? Some of the talent is a little long in the tooth.

Lachey's a Cincinnati boy, fellas. Even though he was a boy bander, don't be hating on him. Gotta support the home boys.

Maybe Marty can call Nick on the banana phone and ask him if he's wearing a shirt.

Of course not, but I must say it's very entertaining.

i for one must admit that i have cut Mr. Lachey slack in the past purely on the fact he is a Reds fan...if it wasnt for that i would hate him immensely..

He is a Reds fan, cut him some slack. I think his music is gay, but we have a common bond. We are from Ohio, grew up on the Reds and love them.

He is one of our the very few celebrities who are openly Reds fans, (there are others still in the closet) So I am happy to see that he is coming to the game. It always disappoints me that while still abig event in the area, rarely ever do we have "big name" fans. While I do not care who is or who isn't in the stands, or much less if you are a celeb or not (unless a pro athlete of course) but I would like to see us revered on a national level. While this will do nothing for the talent of the team this year, celebrity fans do help to boost revenues especially those who sport the gear often (and Nick does) and this is very important for building talent. So while at first I was in agreement with the poster who wrote: "who cares", and "why does this deserve a thread", but as I am responding I am changing my mind. Lachey, while unimportant to the general opening day game, can be an important piece to help rebuild the fan base, any thoughts on celebs and there impact on teams? Like Jack Nicholson, etc.

Does anyone know if he is singing the national anthem? Because although I am not a fan of his music, he is talented.

Very much agree, although it would be much more interesting if another open Reds fan, Charlie Sheen, came to the game with his "gals", if you know what I mean. Put Charlie and his crew in the family section and see what kind of reaction they get.

Dick Vitale is a Reds fan. I figure he'll probably be busy on Monday though with some basketball game or something :D
