Not an April fool's joke. Although I think it is a bit weird that my son is being born on April Fool's day. I have my laptop and wireless broadband card so I can give updates. I brought the Digital Camera too. (Unlike my Gold's Gym visit when Tiger showed up) I will post pictures after he is born sometime this evening. Like my Dad said, he must be excited about Opening Day and didn't want to miss it. He's coming 3 1/2 weeks early.

Congrats in advance, Team Clark. I became a 1st-time uncle last Wednesday. Growing up in a baseball family made us all joke to my sister that her son also had to get out in the real world before the 1st pitch of the season. All the best to you and the Mrs. on your new arrival.

Thank you. Much appreciated. Looking forward to watching the game on TV with him in my arms tomorrow. 7 CM and he's coming down the chute. Getting closer.

Thanks all for the kind words. I must say that even though I was more prepared for this baby, watching a baby being born is still exhilarating. It's hard, if not impossible, holding back those tears of joy. ;)

Congratulations Team Clark. Take as many pictures as you can, because this is a special time that you'll want to remember.

I was thinking along the same lines as Creek... if I'd been logging on here on the days my kids were born, Mrs. U would have heaved the nearest heavy thing in my direction. ;)

On second thought, you should get set up with an online photo album from one of those free places, like Shutterfly or Flickr. That way, while the photos are uploading for friends and family to see, you can sneak a look at a different browser tab to check box scores and forum posts. :D

Already signed up with Photobucket. I posted the link in an earlier post. Check the pics out. Not too shabby for a nervous dad.

Wow, great pictures and congrats TC! Reminds me of my daughter being born 5 years ago and walking out to tell the family in the waiting room that we have a little girl and not being able to stop from breaking down crying in front of about 10 people. Exciting and scary times.

:rockband:  CONGRATULATIONS TC!! The pics look great and I'm glad you were able (and willing) to be there for the spectacle. It's something you'll never forget...your heart will never shrink down to its original size, tho! ;) Glad to see everyone's happy and healthy. You'll never be the most important person in your own life again, and it's a wonderful feeling. :beerme:

Now start developing that left arm... ;)

We watched Tom Glavine very closely last night. He has Pedro Martinez type fingers so his changeup will have a lot of action on it.

I thought I would at least wait until he got home from the Hospital. Those nurses don't seem to appreciate Baseball the way I do.
