I have to admit, I'm just like a little kid...

Come on, aren't you just thinkin' that Dunn will be a MVP candidate???...that Harang wins 20???...that Brandon Phillips and EE are 2 of baseballs young, hot superstars???...that the Reds defense wins game after game instead of losing them???...that Ryan Freel gives us a WebGem per week???...that Ken Griffey Jr.'s numbers make us start following Sosa's to see who will get to 600 1st???...that a mid-year trade nets a closer???...that Homer Bailey throws a 6-hit shutout in his 3rd start with the Reds???...that 5 Reds represent the NL in the All-star Game???...that Josh Hamilton's highlights happen between the lines this year and forever???...that Kyle Lohse outduels Tom Glavine 4-2 on Labor Day on ESPN and begins a 8-2 homestand that leaves the Reds 3.5 games ahead of the Brewers and 4 games ahead of the Cards???...that Harang and Arroyo hurl back to back 7 inn., 1 ER starts in San Fran that clinch the NL Central???

1970 wasn't expected...1990 wasn't expected...for tonite, I'll be dreaming that 2007 wasn't expected either...

:beerme: Go Reds!!

It's Christmas Eve.

I probably won't sleep too well tonight...never do the night before Opening Day.

I've always compared OD to Christmas. The Cards/Mets game was like opening that first gift that isn't too great, but it's still exciting.
