It's not our fault; we're just not used to having an ace who can go seven innings.

Except that woman who has been to every Opening Day game for 72 years -- she remembers.

How much did Pete Rose get paid to wear a hat with a Q on it?

Is Josh Hamilton the only pinch-hitter/late inning defensive replacement to get a standing ovation?

Remember, we're only one-fifth of the way through "Harang and Arroyo, and boy-o, boy-o, boy-o"...

How many Cub fans were in the ballpark this time?

Freel was thrown out on the kind of play you usually see in arena baseball.

High-def, low-def, there was a time when the games weren't in any kind of def.

Not to get too far ahead of ourselves, but what's the Reds' magic number?

How many Cubs fans were there?

I'd say on a normal Cubs game it's 1/3 up to 1/2 Cubs fans.

I'd say of the 42000 there yesterday, they didn't even break 4 digits.

It's no secret the Reds have plenty of opening day fans. Yet starting tomorrow I expect to see a sea of blue in the stands when the Cubs are in town.

On the bright side, they'll be on hand to watch Bronson Arroyo own their team.

"What? Glendon Rusch won't be pitching tomorrow? Man, I was hoping to up my HR total."
