The Lookouts played an exhibition tonight against #1 JUCO team in the Country, Chattanooga State. The Lookouts won 20-0.

What began as a tight game ended in a blowout as the Chattanooga Lookouts annihilated the visiting Chattanooga State Tigers in an exhibition game Tuesday, 20-0.

The Looks pounded out 19 hits to two for Chatt State.

The teams played three scoreless innings, then the Lookouts came up with three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning.
- Chris Dickerson walked, then stole second;
- Jay Garthwaite singled;
- Dickerson and Garthwaite executed a double-steal;
- Dickerson scored when Ryan Hanigan grounded out to short;
- Paul Janish doubled off the glove of a diving Tanner Shamblin in left field.

Starting pitcher Camilio Vazquez went four innings; he gave up one hit, walked a batter and fanned five Tigers.

Mike Flannery replaced Vazquez in the fifth inning.

The Lookouts jumped all over Chatt State relievers with 10 runs in the bottom of the fifth. Cody Straight homered and later tripled in the inning. Pinch hitter Luis Bolivar hit a three-run homer.

Chattanooga added five runs in the fifth, and single runs in the sixth and seventh innings.

Jay Garthwaite homered in the eighth.
