Neither Wood or Cueto with impressive beginnings.

Not sure if you are listening Aronchis, but outside of the walks, Wood seems to just be getting unlucky. Like I said, he had 3 bloops fall into the outfield in a row in the 4th inning when he allowed 3 runs. The announcer said that he has looked good, things just werent going his way. Great thing about baseball.... there is always tomorrow (or in a pitchers case, 4 days from now).

True but only 1 strikeout isn't a overly steller night and unlike a power pitcher like Fisher who still is developing his pitches, he doesn't have a good fastball.

Lanier is another one to watch. The Reds have plenty of good raw righty arms in the system this year. Sadly, the left handed side is pretty thin(as usual).

I agree with you on Lainer. Not having the best inning ever right now though.

I'm glad to see Drew Stubbs off to a fast start. The Reds system lacks RH power bats, so it would be huge if he can live up to expectations.

Lutz is off to a good start in Chattanooga.

2 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 BB, 1 K, 4 GO/1 FO

Lutz has good stuff. I was surprised to see him fall to the Reds in the 19th round last year. Keep an eye on him, he's one worth watching.

The resources dumped into him alone make it huge. I agree.

I hope like Bailey he hits his stride and knocks down the naysayers. And Bailey had a TON of them if people forget.
