I don't know who the host of ESPN's Baseball Tonight is but according to him "Adam Harang got the win today and Kevin Dunn hit a home run off Nady's glove". Nice

I heard the Adam Harang, didn't notice the Kevin Dunn.

It was right before he said something about Dunn buying Nady some beers.

He just called Tony Pena Junior, "Tony Gwynn Junior".

They all seem a little under the influence tonight, starting with Orel Hershisher's hairdo. Lord have mercy, haha!

Personally, I find those kind of mistakes inexcusable. It's not like it's once in awhile; they do it consistently.

It is their job after all. Had I made that many mistakes while doing mine, I wouldn't have been there very long.

Yeah, Steve Berthiaume just came back to ESPN. He's a Boston guy originally and just spent a year at the Mets TV network, so unfortunately you get "the Northeast is the only place that matters/the Western border of the US should be Buffalo" bias.

Incredibly nice guy, but I'm gonna have to give him some flak on this one. Adam Harang is kinda close, but come on, Kevin Dunn????

Might want to stick to the hockey highlights Stevie: Kick save and a beauty, kick save............AND A BEAUTY!

Bring Harold Reynolds back to get that crew squared away again.

I'm not sure if anything will happen, but at least your voice will be heard if you go here.

You'd think Fernando Vina would have corrected Steve. He saw the Reds 19 times (I think?) a year the past few years.

well at least Tony Gwynn JR exists as a person who plays pro baseball.... Kevin Dunn and Adam Harang however....

I shot them this:

Hi,
Steve Berthiaume on Baseball Tonight, during Reds highlights, referred to Reds stars Adam Dunn and Aaron Harang as "Adam Harang" and "Kevin Dunn" during your coverage tonight. Perhaps if these were bench scrubs I could see the mistake, but these are key players. These kind of mistakes are laughable.

Thank you.

Well I'm sure it being Fernando's first year he probably doesn't want to step on anyone's toes.

Well, I listened to it twice (I TiVo'd it earlier while I was out) and I heard the Adam Harang (and the Tony "Gwynn" Jr reference) but not the Kevin Dunn part.

I was not nearly so kind TC. ESPN just got a very nasty piece of my mind on where it seems their priorities lie and the effect that has had on the quality of their product.

I'd like to see the message you wrote them, Rick.

This is what you get when you run the good ones out of the building (see: Reynolds).

You know I think we RedsZoners are being quite unfair. How can we reasonably expect these guys to know the names on the starters of the lesser teams when they are required to spend every waking moment focusing on the Mets, Yankees and Red Sox? The only reason Brantley came available is he couldn't pronounce Dice-K's name correctly.

Then again, we made Kruk's 3 Up, 3 Down segment as the third team in the Up category in the Sunday afternoon show. Come to think of it, whenever we've had good runs, Kruk's always talked very favorably of the Reds on BBTN.

I bet they don't screw up the names of Yankee players, Red Sox players, Cardinal players......you know, the "improtant" teams.

Well when they spend 90% of the show talking about them they learn the names fast :D
