Seriously... why use him as a pinch hitter... ever? One of those Louisville outfielders needs to get healthy quick.

He will get a hit about the same time David Ross does at the pace they are going....

At least Ross has A hit so far, and two sac flies...

Moeller has 3 at bats.... Ross has 17 at bats.

True, but I hate Moeller on principle... Ross I'll give the benefit of the doubt, but when your career BA is below .200, why do you make a major league roster? (Granted, Ross's career is .227)

I agree with the entire idea of him being on the roster as an absolute joke.

I don't like carrying 3 cathers in general, but Moeller makes the decision even more questionable.

Maybe we will get LaRue back as the PTBNL!!!

Moeller is a player waiting to be released waiting to happen.

Odds he'll get a start, even with David Ross being crap-tacular? Zero.

I'd like to see Ross start against a righty again. Maybe that will wake him up. Who knows.

It's either that, or else he needs Jobu in his locker.

Moeller didn't look any more confident behind the plate last night in the 9th inning than he did at the plate. Kinda scared me on a couple of pitches.

Javier Valentin is a tough hombre as a pinch hitter. I really like him coming off the bench in situations when you need a big hit.

I still for the life of me don't understand why keep 3 catchers. I didn't understand it last year and I still don't understand it this year. At least Valentin is a switch hitter and can play 1B. But, I'd much rather have another infielder with some speed.

LaRue is hardly tearing it up (OPS .533 as of 4/12).

Honestly, that hardly counts. Its not Moeller's fault that Soriano still thinks he's playing 2B. Nor is it Moeller's fault that the Cubs can't seem to communicate. To prove the fact that he is garbage, Moeller Ks with the bases loaded and one out.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Javy should be the starting catcher for now...

I was actually relieved when he struck out. The entire at-bat I had this very bad feeling he was going to ground in to a double play. He's still garbage, though. :thumbdown

Atleast that would've scored a run

A double play with one out would've scored a run?
