As it stands right now, he has no chance at the plate. Very concerning at this point. Javier Valentin can hit, but I don't think the Reds want to depend on his defense every night.

How about changing it to a Javier Valentin thread? He hits much better than
Ross. Ross screwed up a squeeze play yesterday. Last year, a couple times he had good throws from the outfield bounce off of his mitt. Can Javier be much worse? Ross is a guy that should have been dumped last year.

On the squeeze play yesterday, Arroyo could've been Carl Lewis and Ross still wouldn't have been able to get Floyd at the plate.

You wanna see worse than Ross this year? Watch Javy hit right-handed.
