It is short into the season and already I have heard critics saying well now the Reds can pitch but they can't hit. I was looking into some of the stats and was surprised to learn that only the Brewers has scored more runs than us and only the Reds and Cubs has scored more runs than they have given up!

4.29 rpg. 4 runs will win us a lot of ball games if we get decent pitching. Reds fans are just jaded because we don't remember what that looks like, nor do we know if it will hold up. I personally am a believer until the team stumbles for a prolonged stretch.
