Shouldn't this be in the minor league forum?

What is Danny doing?! Keep trying to search out lower and lower competition till he finds someone he can still strike out?

I know a couple intramural teams that need a closer... or maybe they could convert him to starting? YEAH that's the ticket.

He never could strike out people. He relied on his breaking pitches and keeping the ball down. Well, his pitches don't break as much now, and his pitches aren't as down as they used to be. Losing a few ticks on his velocity hurt a bit, too. He's practically a BP pitcher now.

Have they always been the Ducks, or was the name changed as that is what fans will be doing when Danny takes the hill?

Do you think he can still throw underhand? My softball team could use a second pitcher.

Team mascot fits well with the hairdo he had when he was a Red.

I wasn't far off in my prediction that he would end up in the Northern League.

...and the Bridgeport team added Junior Spivey.

He's 1 for 4 lifetime off Graves, with the one hit a HR. I can't wait until they face off again this year. It will be a battle of epic proportion.

geez...he has in his 10 years. He can draw his full retirement at age 45. He's got to have plenty of money....why do this? Just walk away. Have some respect for yourself.

It can't be money. They don't pay much in those leagues

Thanks to the generosity of JimBo and Uncle Carl, he should have plenty of money.

Maybe, like Rickey Henderson, he just loves the game too much to stop playing. Nothing wrong with that. But he's deluding himself if he thinks he's ever going to play big league ball again.

So Danny Graves walks into a drugstore and tells the guy behind the counter "Gimme some chapstick. And put it on my bill."

Is that how the joke goes? Can never remember.

I swear a third that team used to play in the Reds organization. Is Jimbo's kid brother running the team or what?

Graves, Reidling, Mark Watson, Rose Jr, Kevin Tolar, Mark Lewis.

Good memories there lol
