So what is the worst of the worst, Fox Sports Commercial-wise this season?

I'll start it off...

Every time that McCluskey Chevrolet commercial comes on, it starts with this super annoying high pitched "One Number!"

It has become like fingernails on a chalkboard to me, and the worst part is you can't mute it because it is comes at you so fast.

As long as they dont bring back that Skyline commercial that just shows a close up of some kid sweating. The kid also looks medicated.

Yeah... THAT makes me want a 3-way.

This isnt even close. It might not be "remotely" close to the low standards of Red Roof Inn. But the Farmersonly.com commercials are terrible. Not to mention the idea of a Farmers Only dating service is an awful idea in itself.

OMG, I saw that for the first time the other day. I thought it was a joke at first. Still cant believe its actually real and someone put time and money into it.

"CITY FOLKS JUST DON'T GET IT"

And don't forget the talking animals musing about whether or not their owners will ever find true love. hahaha.

Those dancing bags of JTM burgers looks like it was produced by some sort of high school audio-visual class in about 10 minutes. Laughably bad.

I have to turn the radio down when that comes on it's so bad. I think the ad execs at Pepsi spend time every year trying to develop the commercial that would most annoy me.

The advertisers should realize that these commercials are going to run twice a game for 162 games. They should find an inexpensive way to have several versions they can switch up.

I can't believe nobody's mentioned the "Raindrops falling on my head" Advance Auto Parts commercial for wiper blades. Every time it comes on I contemplate jamming sharp objects into my ears until I go deaf. I seriously make a mad dash for the remote every time it comes on. Not only do they play it every commercial break, but when it's not playing that stupid song is still running through my head. I love how it's a sunny day while it's pouring rain the whole time.

You can count me in on hating the Hip-hopera ad on the radio also. I will admit, I laughed the first couple times I heard it, but now it's getting pretty annoying.

is that keyboardist a girl or guy on the gold star commercial? that is the question, i want to throw my remote through the tv when that commercial comes on, before the commercial i would occasionally go to gold star w/o much complaint, but refuse to eat there now, Skylike all the time

One of the great things about watching games on MLB.TV is that you never see a commercial. Although you may quickly tire of watching the baseball-themed Pac Man and Breakout game that they show during each commercial break.

They pretty much all suck. Except for those Miller High Life commercials, they're eight kinds of awesome. Creative and funny, but in a laugh with you, not at you kind of way. That and the anitmated Ricoh printer commercials from last year are about only good ones I've seen on Reds games.

Actually, when I watch on FSN, I pay Time Warner Cable in order to watch the game.

When I listen on 700WLW, then you're right, TB.

I remember when cable TV first came out, and how it was touted to be commercial free programming, all of the time. Yeah, that lasted!

Ive been complaining about the commercials on Reds TV games for years.

Apparently, as long as the commercial time is sold, FoxSports is not going to give a hoot about the ridiculous frequency that the commercial runs.

I think that the amount of commercial spots that can be bought or sold should be limited. Instead of 12 sponsors with 1500-2000 spots for the 145 games, perhaps it should be 24 sponsors limited to 750-1000 for the season.

I dont know how you keep a straight face and broadcast 145 games and run commercials 8-10-12-15-or more times between the pre-game show, the game, and the post game show. It's now to the point where it defies common decency.

If I have the choice of going to Advance Auto Parts or Auto Zone Auto Parts, I'm going to Auto Zone Auto Parts. Both are within a mile of my home, but Im sick of the Advance Auto Parts commercials. See what I mean?? I like Hershey bars, but I wouldnt want one crammed down my throat every 10 minutes.

We arent even out of April and the commercials are like Chinese torture.

We arent even out of April and the commercials are like Chinese torture.

The good thing for this Dayton Time Warner customer is that the channels are:

26 - ESPN
27 - ESPN2
28 - ESPN Classic
29 - Fox Sports Net

Only 1-2-or-3 channel down flips and I am set during commercials. And the same in the opposite direction to get back to the REDS. And after a few games in the first week of April, you get real good at the timing thing to make sure no pitches are missed.

And on the bright side we no longer have to see Amy & Erin or that family on the couch in the department store telling us how much they save at Bigg's.

But, I'm so thankful that I don't have to watch the beer commercial from last season. The one where all you heard was beer pouring and stuff...for some reason that commerical just made me cringe every time I heard it.

First of all, it's the Celina Wine Store.
Second of all, it's The Mr. Shoppe.
Third of all, DJ Pacman is about 6'5" and goes about 300 pounds. I wouldn't be making fun of him in public.
And lastly, if you don't enjoy the fact that WKKI is skirting the MLB rules by allowing people to listen to Reds' games online illegally, then maybe, just maybe, you shouldn't complain about their commercials. The station is very low budget, but they've been a Reds affiliate forever. Cut 'em some slack.

But what do we know...we're just a bunch of country bumpkins.

The question though is, "are YOU in the INN Crowd?"

...well I was. Until I saw that commercial 50 times a night for a week straight.

Now?

Lets just say the Montgomery Inn just made the "list" right next to Skyline and Quiznos. ;)

Well, the Gold Star commercials look like they're cycling with a number of different bands playing variations on the "yummy-Nummy Gold Star Whoo-hoo!" schtick - we were treated, this weekend, to a bunch of overweight balding 30something guys screeching about the joys of stuffing their buttery faces with chili burritos. Band was called buckshot or chakras or someoddthing. Buckchuck? Nunchucks? I don't know.

I've only seen the FarmersOnly commercial once, but found it brilliant, rating highly on the unintentional humor scale.

What's worse is they are trying to be like the Bare Naked Ladies or something. The bald dude with the ridiculous eyebrows that appear to be drawn on annoys me the most.

Their song sucks. Their food sucks worse because of their commercial and I will specifically avoid all patronage.

Its like there is some sleazy ad agency out there swindling companies to make horrid commercials designed to destroy all credibility.

I think an FCC investigation needs to be called.

Frisches Big Boy always has a commercial with some kind of skit that gets seriously old after the 3000th time. After a while they make me do the "fingers in the ears and LALALALALALALAALLA" thing until its over.

I'm pretty sick of the McCluskey Chevy commercial... "Blwon Blnumber". And the Skyline commercials, as much as I love the restaurant, really drive me nuts.

However, I will guarantee that no commercial shown during the Reds game is as bad as the Huntington Bank commercials that run during the Columbus Blue Jackets games.

Yes, I'm a Blue Jackets fan. What of it?

The commercial that has the woman slowly singing the Modern English song "Melt With You" is the one that makes me cringe. I cant even tell you what it is advertising because I cant stand to hear her sing. I think some kind of gasoline or something. Totally destroys a wonderful song.

MMMM...that deal's hot!

How low can you go?

Those commercials were the worst (as already mentioned). A buddy and I were doing something and I just let out an "MMM....that deal's hot" and we both just groaned and died laughing (after he countered with the "How low can you go?" that is).

I have been away from the Cincy area last summer and this summer but in the few times I have been able to catch the Reds on FSN I actually know just about every one people have mentioned (that should tell you something!).

It's the same for most continued coverage events. By the NCAA championship game in basketball my roommate and I pretty much talked along with every commercial because the used the same ones for 3 weeks straight of coverage.

As much as I liked the Geico commercial with Yogi Berra when it first came on, I have started to REALLY get sick of that commercial after seeing it like 500,000 times over the course of the last 3-4 years.
