View Full Version : Narron dislikes Felipe?

Chris Welsh said this yesterday. Interesting thread on this going on over in ORG.

I really REALLY hope that Felipe was traded for baseball reasons and not for any extra-curricular dislike that Narron might have felt for him.

Maybe he didn't like him because of baseball reasons. I think the extra-cirricular accusations seem pretty far-fetched and baseless as there is no evidence to support them.

Yeah I hope so.

I still wish we could have seen Felipe at 2nd and B.Phil at SS.

I always thought it was pretty clear Narron disliked him because he was a butcher in the field. Same reason he generally seems to dislike EE.

Every manager has his favorites and dislikes others. Look at the different ways Narron treats Edwin and Phillips. I think the reason Lopez was in the lineup was that he was a gifted offensive player. It just seemed to me that Narron was happy to get another SS in here, albeit Clayton.

i was a felipe fan when he was hear the only thing that burned me was his erratic arm and sometimes shaky glove work but i loved his bat and what he did for our offense whereever he hit

I like Felipe. I would still take Gonzo over him though.
