View Full Version : Tickets to see Homer’s first game…for charity

This is a great cause, and I wanted to point it out to the fine folks over here.

A generous fellow contacted me recently with an interesting offer. He has two tickets in Section 132 (great seats) for Friday night's debut of Homer Bailey at Great American Ballpark.

He wanted to know if we wanted to auction them off at our blog to a Reds fan -- with the only stipulation being that payment for the tickets should be made payable directly to The Special Olympics.

It's a good opportunity to see Bailey's debut in great seats, for a worthwhile cause.

Please forgive me for linking to my blog (http://redlegnation.com/2007/06/06/tickets-to-see-homers-first-gamefor-charity/), but there are plenty of Reds fans over here who were planning to go to the game anyway, so I thought someone might want to have the cost of the ticket go to charity.

If you want to bid, go here:

Thanks! (And I'm sorry for the intrusion, but it's a good cause, and I'm not getting any benefit out of it. Heck, if you don't want to click the link and go there, e-mail or PM me and give me your bid amount and your valid email address and I'll add the bid myself.)
