Anyone here the latest scoup on Eddie? Looks like he's done pretty well in the two innings he's pitched for the Dragons. The Reds need him in a bad way so they can put Stormy in the set up role where he belongs..

All I could find on his outing last night:

Eddie Guardado, on a rehab assignment from Cincinnati following Tommy John surgery, walked one and struck out one in one inning for the Bats.

Anybody know how well/hard he threw?

I think he pitches in Dayton again tomorrow.

Anybody counting on Eddie to make any contribution on the field for the Reds this year or ever is kidding themselves. Let's give it up and move on.

Saw him pitch last night.
He went in with a 8-4 lead in the 8th, walked the first batter, 2nd up grounded to 3rd for a dp, and struck out the 3 batter.

Looked comfortable on the mound
16 pitches, nothing special, did not seem to be able to keep the ball down in the zone.

Did not look very sharp, especially compared to Stone's performance in the 9th (2k 1 ground out)

In his defense, they had a big lead and he is rehabing. Now is not the time to be throwing your arm off.
