Don't know who else is in contention but he would be very deserving if he won it.

he is very deserving it will all depend on his competition.

I don't think Brandon will get it for one reason. He's on a last place team and that will hurt him tremendously in voting

Orlando Hudson won Gold Gloves with Toronto.

He's close but Hudson will probably grab another one this year barring injury. Brandon will get a few in the years to come.

If he was playing in New York, Los Angeles, Atlanta, San Diego, maybe even in St. Louis, but not in Cincinnati. At least with the Reds being the worst NL team...

he deserves it, but as others said, i doubt it, especially considering hudson got the nod over him for the all-star game, gives you some idea of how phillips isn't exactly on the radar in a big way yet.

doubtful this year, but when he ends the year with over 30 hrs he should get the publicity to get noticed next year.

It has been a long time since a Cincinnati Red won a Gold Glove. I cannot even remember the last person to win one, and my memory goes back to the 70's Reds.

Wasn't Jack Mckeon Pokey's campaign leader the year he won? I don't see Phillips getting one because im not sure he's has that reputation yet.

two words:

Ozzie Smith.

Maybe if you were still with the Indians, Brandon.
