this is a sobering reminder to all baseball fans to pay attention to the game when attending in person, especially when sitting close to the field. (note: I'm not suggesting this coach was not paying attention.)

I remember Mike Coolbaugh when he played with the Indianapolis Indians and really had an admiration for the guy. He was a life long minor leaguer who finally made it to the big leagues at age 29 with the Brewers. This is sad for me because I have seen many players come thru Indy and I cant say I had any type of fondness for many of them, but I did have a certain fondness for a guy like Coolbaugh who didnt give up and fulfilled a dream of so many of us by playing in the big leagues!!
